Simon has over 30 years diving experience and has trained over 2,000 people to dive from entry level through to instructor and technical divers. Simon is one of the UK’s leading technical and cave instructors and his passion for diving is infectious. As a former international athlete, Simon often draws on his own experiences and runs workshops advising others how to improve their dive fitness and flexibility as he is keen to promote safe diving practices. He is highly respected within the diving industry and is at the forefront of exploration, and is always keen to speak with other divers and find out why they love the sport and what we can do to make their diving experiences more enjoyable

Simon is also a keen underwater photographer and his talents have been requested on a number of projects, from wardrobe testing on the Harry Potter feature films, underwater modelling shots for London Fashion Week and numerous television and press advertisements. A number of his underwater shots are on display in store, so why not come in and take a look.
Along with his other dive training school in London, Lodge Scuba, Simon is well known for his work in the local community, offering young people greater access to opportunities in sport. In collaboration with the local councils, schools and community groups he has implemented a scheme enabling over one hundred children to learn to scuba dive.
Our shop has recently undergone a major renovation; with a new look and new lines on offer we now stock one of the largest ranges of diving and technical equipment to cater for everyone from snorkellers to technical and cave divers.
We have an in-house servicing and testing centre, comfortable and modern training facilities and specialist technical advice alongside a vast range of diving equipment from the leading manufacturers who are at the forefront of developing high quality, reliable and comfortable equipment. Some of the leading brands we stock include, OMS, Mares, Cressi, Apeks, Suunto, Dive Rite, IST, Otter, Forth Element, Sea&Sea, Analox and many more.
Our training school provides training for every major UK training agency. We are a PADI 5 Star Dive Centre and offer one of the largest ranges of courses including some of the more obscure such as Ice and Cave Diver. With 3 training sessions a week and dive trips run most weekends we are one of the most active dive centres in the North of England.

Michelle Hedley has recently joined the Divers Warehouse team and looks forward to meeting all the regular customers/divers alike.
Michelle has sixteen years of Management experience in various sectors Originally from Essex, she is now an adopted northerner!
Michelle started her career in the Tax office and has worked her way to Senior Management through hardwork, commitment and loyalty.
Michelle excels in team management and has many testimonials from staff regarding her management technique and success which she is looking to
bring to the team at Divers Warehouse.
Michelle is looking forward to a bright future with Divers and already has many plans to assist with the progressive success of the company.
