Dive rite Classic Exp Wing Package 2
Dive Rite Classic EXP Wing
The Classic EXP is part of our innovative line of 360 degree, donut-style wings that provide greater stability and control in the water. The Classic EXP is an adjustable lift wing, sporting an optional Gusset Control System cord that can be used to further streamline the wing for wreck penetration or smaller size doubles. The GCS is not a bungee wing because it does not restrict air flow; instead the GCS promotes added streamlining and buoyancy control, yet allows the wing to inflate to its full capacity.
The Classic EXP can be a single or dual bladder wing. Its unique bladder design allows a single Bladder Classic EXP to be altered to become a dual bladder wing at a later date, if desired.
At full capacity, the Classic EXP offers 68 lbs/31 kg of lift, accommodating two 17L back mounted cylinders and two 11L stage bottles.
The Classic EXP wing is designed for use with the TransPac, Transplate or metal backplates.
Available in black with gray side panels.
Please note: the Classic EXP is designed for use with heavyweight double tanks and is not for use with single tanks.
Lift Capacity 68lbs / 31kg
Weight 3 lbs /1.4 kg.
DIVERITE TransPac Harness T3000
- Soft backplate is constructed of 1000 denier ballistic nylon fabric for tear and abrasion resistance.
- Two-inch (50mm) nylon webbing rated at 7,000 lbs breaking strength forms the shoulder straps and waistband.
- Four 2-inch D-rings on each shoulder strap are slightly bent for improved access and placement can be adjusted. Note: Sizes XS, Small and Medium have one 2-inch D-ring per shoulder strap due to space limitations.
- Six 1-inch D-rings on each side of the harness provide attachment points for light canisters, pony bottles, lift bags and other equipment.
- Grommet mounting holes slide over bolt kit when diving doubles and help diver set trim
- Marine Grade 316 stainless steel hardware is used throughout including: (6) 1-inch D-rings, (2) bent D-rings on each shoulder strap (Note: Sizes XS, Small and Medium have one 2-inch D-ring per shoulder strap) and (2) waist D-rings, pivot rings, belt buckle, cam strap buckles, and side plates.
- Shoulder straps feature pivot rings at chest level for comfort, fit, and load distribution.
- Acetyl resin engineered plastic quick release buckles on the shoulders for easy doff and don.
- One-inch nylon webbing rated at 2,200 lbs breaking strength and a Delrin® 1-inch quick release buckle are used for a chest strap.
- Stainless steel base plates allow for proper placement of shoulder straps. Plates can be moved forward or backward on the waist strap to get the best fit and performance. Pre-drilled to attach optional Tek D-rings for use with stage bottles and side mounting.
- Crotch strap D-ring for attaching optional 1-inch crotch strap. Crotch strap adapter required if a 2-inch crotch strap is preferred.
- Includes (2), 2-inch nylon webbing cam straps with stainless steel buckles for mounting harness to single tanks. Cam straps are standard 36-inches in length.
- XS:4 lbs 4 oz (1.92kg), Sm:4 lbs 4 oz (1.95kg), Med:4 lbs 8 oz (2.054kg), Lg:4 lbs 12 oz (2.15kg), XL:4 lbs 14 oz (2.20kg), XLT:5 lbs (2.29kg), XXL:4.93lb (2.23kg), XXLT:5lbs 2 oz (2.32kg)
- Made in U.S.A.
- TIPS To avoid the tank hitting the back of the head, use a crotch strap. Also, lower the tank on the back by setting the cam straps at the top shoulder of the tank.
- If you dive a single tank and experience "roll" when moving side to side in the water, add a pair of Harness Weights just behind each shoulder. Harness Weights help re-distribute weight giving a diver better stability and prevent heavy weight pockets from "pulling" a diver side to side.
- When diving double tanks, a hard backplate is not necessary. Use BC2084 TransPac stabilizing plates instead. Note: The TransPac is not designed to be worn with a metal backplate. When the TransPac first debuted on the market in 1995, cold water divers wanted the fit of the TransPac with the added weight of a metal plate. They would sandwich a metal backplate in between the TransPac and the wing to give them more weight to counterbalance thick undergarments. Dive Rite developed the TransPlate in response to this need. The TransPlate gives the same comfort and support as the TransPac, yet allows divers to use the harness with a metal backplate
